What a waste. There are teams playing four games in 24hrs. This is so bad for development.

It's not about development. That's what you do in training. This is about competition. Don't like it, don't participate.

Or perhaps you really meant "My kid's team is getting throttle mercilessly. This isn't good for development".

Across the board all ages all genders this has to be the weakest showing. It is amazing that it went from the best of the NW to almost nothing in two years. Even last year the Seattle clubs were still sending good teams.

Major disappointment. Won all four games. Very weak teams. My DD played three games in 20 hours.

            Lol.
The comment above is why other countries laugh at us. We are azz backwards here. Four 70 minute games in 24 hours is so bad for player development. Those kids actually got worse this weekend.

NWCL is not very good any longer. Doesn't have the best Seattle teams and Oregon teams are all mediocre. It's now just a money grab, and not a very good one.

It used to be fun for top Oregon teams to test their skills against quality Seattle clubs and the period good BC teams. But now it's so watered down. Oregon teams traveled to Seattle to play 4 Oregon teams. What a waste.

First time participant - we didn't play any Oregon teams. Some variability in competition (1 really tough, 1 about par with us, 1 quite weak) great fields 2 out of 3 games (1 out of 3 was so-so) . . . was a good experience for us. Something we will evaluate year-to-year, but so far so good and it didn't look any of the Oregon teams in our age had an easy time of it.

That is great. But the competition is not that good. Weaker than ever in its history. if you enjoyed it then it worked for your team.

Not to mention that the Oregon teams have to go to Seattle twice to do this. There is no weekend in Portland anymore. The remainder of thecseattle teams said heck no to traveling to Portland.

similar experience here. team had success but what others are saying about the quality of the field is certainly true

Come on its not like the teams played 24hrs straight with out a break. If your team can't handle playing two games in one day you might want to make sure your kids spend alittle more time on their electronic devices. This generation is getting so lazy and has a excuse for everything.

If your coach is taking the team from tournament to tournament then time to find a new coach. The old way doesn't work.
