    High School Season

Okay, mandatory 'dead week' 7/24-7/30 and then full on conditioning training.

What does the 6A girls high school landscape look like this year?

I will start us down the "Sunset > than everyone else" path......

    1). Sunset
    2). Everyone else

Can't wait...some of the funniest posts of the year happen during high school season and it is right around the corner.....

Starting one year, about 1/3 of Westview's existing student body will shift to Sunset, about half of Sunset's existing student body will shift to Beaverton, about half of Beaverton's existing student body will shift to Southridge, and half of Southridge will shift to the new BSD high school.

Beaverton doesn't even have a proper soccer field; just the football stadium to play on.

      Sunset is doomed.

Class of 2018 and 2019 will be grandfathered at current schools; new school will open with only freshman and sophomores. But yes, the boundary shifts in Beaverton will be epic and nasty.

          U. of Jesuit will be rubbing their hands with glee...

Jesuit is not held to geography boundaries so it should be of no consequence.

We are changing this year. For 2016, it will be Gresham > everyone else.

                            "Full on conditioning"????
you are wasting your childs time. If there are coaches that are doing conditioning only training to start the season they are dumb f&*ks!

they obviously don't know how to teach the game.

Ah yes, soccer season when the senior players who are pathetic are out trying to organize the team with off season workouts and kick arounds in their attempt to show "leadership" and garner that resume builder called "captain". And for some, the moms will get involved with emailing the coach, offering to drive to the preseason team get away, and other "helping" things all in an attempt to win sway with the coach to help their daughter get that "captain" label. Oh wait, that doesn't happen at all schools. Just ones where you have overbearing moms who have to earn things for their daughters. Of course, now that said daughter is in college, wonder how mom will help out?
