    Girls Scorpions....the downfall

I suppose this is now called FC Boston Scorpions?
They have just about moved into the last phase of their demise.
The scorpions have had a mediocre boys club which got a little more notoriety with DC and KB coming with their teams from the Blazers, however, they have always been known for their Girlds club.

The Bolts took over the club to, hopefully, bolster two sides: One was to try to revive the Girl Scorpions and the other was to try, hopefully for the last time, to see if the Bolts can sustain and Girls club. As for the former, the Bolts would have to decide to care about something other than BA and the Academy teams.....which won't happen anytime too soon.

As for the Girls scorpions.....well.....say goodbye. No Academy and soon to be no ECNL. Why? Well, like the boys, you cannot keep the same pathetic DOC and hope to succeed. FM is abysmal. He was successful when there were few options. Now, there are many options and the stars, NEFC, and even GPS are superior to the FC Bolts Scorpions.

Either replace FM or continue with an albatross of a failing club.

Thank you for your concern. Ages U13-15 seemed pretty strong, while 16+ are abysmal. Let's see how the age-group changes shake things out before jumping to conclusions.

Yu must be a newbie and have no history. SCorpions to Stars to NEFC is just comiong full circel. At each step they were declared dead at teh hans of Ryan Lavner Brendan Boates and others who moved on to greener pastures yet Fred is still standing. Wobbling maybe but still here even outlasting MAPLE.

I don't think so. I say third of the local ECNL teams. We will know for sure soon enough.

In all honesty who cares? If your not at that club why waste your time bashing the club. If you are at the club and are unhappy leave.

You need to have your head examined if you jump onto this sinking ship. This club will not exist in two years.

Too funny. You said the same thing 4 years ago. And 6 years ago. And 8 years ago. Hang in there and some day you'll be right.

They haven't done well in 4 years. Am I missing something? Did they win anything?

I think times have changed regarding wins and losses. Now it's about getting into college to play soccer. Also with so many leagues/national championships you'll never really know who the best teams are. I know people can say this team or that team is better which they could be right. As long the scorpions offer a opportunity to get your child looked at by college coaches then they won't fail. I think all parents have to do is look at the college commitments and if scorpions are still producing d1 players then why or have your child go there?
