      It doesn't seem to be very well known in the Portland soccer community that two years ago, Cony swallowed a Northern California club.... neither the Timbers Alliance nor Westside Timbers' websites seem to acknowledge the existence of Northbay Youth Soccer. Of course, the TA website doesn't look like it's been updated in about a year....

                That Northbay team wasn't even state cup champion in CalNorth, and almost all of the top clubs play in NorCal, not CalNorth, so you've got the runner up of an extremely watered down CalNorth absolutely thumping the top OYSA team from Oregon.

                  The number of really bad teams at regionals this year is shocking. Montana and Wyoming sent their 6th and 7th place teams.

                      Westside and Northbay partnership happened awhile ago. The NB DOC was a former player under Cony.

                      Lot of clubs have been busy so looks like updates tend to happen here. Right?

                        Sad part is NB is a little two-bit spin-off club with 2 girls teams and they absolutely throttled the top Timbers Alliance team in the state. If that's not an indictment of Timbers Alliance player development, I don't know what is...

                            Face it, Regionals are now for 3rd-tier teams, at best, behind ECNL and National League on the girls side, and USSDA and National League on the boys side.
