    Boston Breakers Open Letter

The letter is pathetic, but I don't understand why the Breakers are so weak. They have good players.

    Ok. This is informative. Not.

You refer to a letter that none of us has seen and provide no context, what the heck?

Who might those good players be? My sense is that they don't have any legitimate stars and have a roster full of journeymen players. Seems to me that they are in a mode of acquiring assets to make some moves but don't even have much of those yet to be considered a legitimate hopeful. Seems like they might be in for a rather long rebuild process and one has to wonder if this market will sustain them while that is underway. Certainly criticism like this thread isn't going to help. Probably why it was started.

Yeah. Criticism on talking soccer really has an impact. Actually, it seems pretty newsworthy. It's unusual to have an open letter. I hope the partnership with NEFC helps.

The breakers need some "star" power. A recognizable national talent that is more than smoke and mirrors that the local girl has turned into. Until they get someone willing to play in this market this team will be a last placed drag on this fledgling league. Jmo

I agree they need some talent on the field although their performance raises questions about the coaches, as well. Coaches can attract the talent. But it is depressing that the market for women's sports is so weak.

Make up your mind. Does TS have no impact or a lot of impact? You've all over the map on that topic for years.

New coach, new manager. and a couple stars and they might have a chance.

New Jersey seems to be the next destination.

                          For expansion? Doesn't help Boston.

Just another girls club jersey that will need a new patch by the end of next season because the Breakers left, but this time they'll be gone-gone not just moving on.

If the team leaves, doesn't this screw over NEFC?
