Great first half and they survived the second
    For the semis
No JJ ( still play stupid sometimes) Wood or Bedoya
Brooks is much better than I knew!!

The card accumulation rules are stupid !!

Brooks is the only reason they are where they are. Which means Klinnsman will probably keep him on the bench against Argentina.

Jones was a mess despite a great assist. He looked determine to wreck the USA's chances. Bradley is a disaster and could have easily coast the US the game if it wasn't for Brooks who again was awesome.

you need to watch the three games again. Jones has been playing great - just as he did in the world cup. He's got his mojo back. Has anger issues though which really hurt him and the team last night.

Bradley I agree has been inconsistent, Brooks no question has been critical. However many players have been key to the team's success: wood, cameron, guzan, bedoya, and of course Dempsey to name a few!

        Go US!!!

Luckily I won't have to watch Jones again in this tournament. Wood has played great but should've been taken out knowing he was on a yellow before he picked up the second one. Next game is going to be a blowout.

Other than playing Columbia, the US has had an easy path to the Semis. Not sure there is anything to get too excited about yet since they still seem to have no ability to actually hold and move the ball up the field. The real test comes tomorrow and it will be surprising if they move past Argentina. I am not expecting a result like the Chile / Mexico game but would not be surprised if it is somewhat lopsided in Argentina's favor. The unfortunate thing is that this might have been enough to save Klinsmann's job.

Does Wondo have pictures of JK? Why does he ever see the field?

Why does Bradley see the field? Did he connect even half his passes ? He is way too slow to make a decision.

Argentina came to win. US came to ?? So many unforced errors. Were they pressing high ? If so they did an extremely poor job of it. where was the confidence? Jk said prior to the game that they don't fear Argentina - well they played like they did!

Goes back to Klinnsman. When you really analyze this joke of a coach, do you really need to look further than the fact that it looks like he had to pick through the dirty laundry to get dressed. Completely looks like he doesn't give a crap. Laughing at the 83' mark (and not the first time) while cashing checks that should make him ashamed.

US soccer, have the you know whats to fire this clown between now and Saturday.

He was smiling because he was relieved this happened in the semifinal and therefore he still had his job. I just fail to understand why they don't fire him.
He said in the post game that "we gave them too much respect"-well In the pre game he said "we will not fear Argentina" - that's a coach's job to set the mentality of the team pregame- clearly he failed to do that. And was there a strategy ? If the strategy was to press high well they didn't do that. Kept a high line without pressing which created all kinds of holes in the back. Bradley / beckerman duo was pathetic.

Klinsmann is gone... He has no real plan for the US men's soccer team. It is obvious, the question is who will replace him?

Doesn't look like it. They're already patting themselves on the back on reaching the semi final

Near the end of the game, they mentioned that the US possession % was 33%. Not sure how they counted that - I would have guessed less than 20.

No shots on net. Same thing happened at the 94 World Cup, round of 16 against Brazil. Who were playing down a man for most of the game. So after 22 years, an explosion of youth soccer, development academies, etc., we still are clearly outmatched against the best team in the world.

                              problem is not just JK
