          Good that the boys and girls sides will align and good it gives kids excellent choices to do year-round club soccer or play high school in the fall. The only bad thing is that it might split up the best players, but I think the truly elite will opt for year-round Academy soccer.

            Maybe at first. It took a while for Academy to get established. I think Academy is great, but it is hard to beat under the lights at a lot of high schools.

              I think DA will do just that - retain higher level players and/or those with lousy HS options. MLS teams will remain unscathed. Non MLS clubs may be sweating a bit - if you're not a starter on a non MLS team the you should at a minimum consider you options because now you finally have an option.
