    Needham tournament college coach list

Very disappointed in the list of attending college coaches. Why do they market as college showcase? I know that major colleges would not attend this event especially from far away but i did not expect to see the majority to be non scholarship giving schools

why not post the attending coach list and the tourney team list while you are at it and get right to the 'bashing' portion of your program - and it's ok to say D3 instead of non-scholarship giving schools - much less verbose and still PC - lol

If you're attending GPS you're right where you need to be.

I mentioned non scholarship schools because some listed at d2, naia and even some d1 but i dont believe that these small schools offer scholarships in soccer. Just because the NCAA allows them to give scholarships does not mean that they give them.

Cant post the list because that would be too much work as it is not possible to copy and paste here. You can look it up yourself and then agree with me.

Big program schools will be at Potomac, PDA, Delco. It is still a showcase. If your team is doing Needham instead of the other big ones then either your team isn't interested or wasn't good enough to get in. If you're disappointed in the coach list be disappointed with your club.

Aside from about 7 colleges, the list isn't much different than last year. What is a bit telling is that even some of the more prominent division III schools are absent: Williams, Middleburg, Trinity, Wesleyan, Tufts.

Coaches or their assistants will go to events where the talent level is appropriate for their programs. If they feel one event no longer suits their needs they'll try another.

Here comes the hard reality, the Needham tournament is NOT a college showcase event. It's a marketing gimmick.

                            Not true.

I just checked Williams. Last year the assistant was listed as coming. This year the head coach is listed.

Once again, T-S, the source of wrong information.

Both the men's and women's coaches from Mt. Ida are coming also!
