If you are ECNL you are first division. NPL/FPL comes right behind it. Last but not least is the Rec league called FYSA.

Second, I disagree. What matters is the level of competitiveness (not competition). FSPL was VERY competitive for many age groups. Multiple teams battling for the top spot.
Many of those teams also played in FPL, which was watered down.
So although ECNL is top, its because of the competitiveness of that ECNL league.
Which brings me to my point. If development is what you want for your kid, the league with the best competitiveness (and of course a descent level of talent) will be best for their growth as a player. FSPL (for most age groups) was fantastic this year at getting the best out of those players.
Stop worrying about which league is 1. 2. 3. etc. Its childish. IF your kid is being challenged and developed in ECNL, GREAT. But its also possible if FSPL and FPL.
But for the sake of playing your little game: Yes you are correct, your little-Mia is playing at the top level and she is SOOOOO good. I don't know how the ECNL gods have not put her on the national team yet.

With 2 more NPL clubs going to ECNL. NPL is not above FSPL. NPL will now be JFC, BU,OC, TBU,Weston, and WFF second teams. FCF FKK, PDA, SC and Chargers as any club with A teams in NPL. IMG and Kendall too when they appear in the league. The clubs themselves put FSPL ahead of NPL.

So based on the popular opinion that if a kid is not on the top team they should quit or play rec... Anyone in England not playing in the Premier League should give up the dream and get a real job. Does that about cover it.

And FYSA is not a league, it's an organization. There are various levels of leagues that play under the FYSA umbrella but again . . . so what? Most kids playing ECNL and NPL/FPL are probably going to end up flipping burgers or greeting people at Walmart someday. There is no real path to professional play in the US.
If you want to be successful, work hard in school and play soccer for fun. I guarantee your chances of a successful life will be 5 times what it is for these "ex player" part time travel coaches scattered around Florida.

Laughable
Oh yes we should all believe that when playing Boca United and Weston teams we are now in "first division".
NPL?
Your comment is laughable!
