So know we know that the NEFC/Breakers NPL teams will be playing in New England NPL (not Northeast NPL), and they are calling this their "top" team even though we know they have to, due to the legal ramifications on the partnership. We all know that the Boston Breakers ECNL team is technically the top team. My question is, what % of current NEFC Elite players are moving up to the ECNL team, and how many are either not making that team, or choosing to stay put on the NPL team? Of the handful of NEFC Elite players I know, all have signed offer sheets for ECNL, but they are U16 and under. My guess is that less of the older girls will move to ECNL especially if they have their college packages wrapped up.

I know this is not your question, but I have one of my own. Does this mean that the Boston Breakers Academy will not have their own NPL team in the northeast NPL? Will they be the only ECNL club without a 2nd team in Northeast NPL?

And 'college packages' as you put it - why keep harping on that? A better discussion would be the merits of a BBA NPL team in Northeast NPL. just sayin'
