How bad is it getting over at CU?

The CU coaches are on here night and day posting negatively about FCP to try to keep the players from migrating over to FCP. This isn't the TA posting. FCP isn't in competition with FCP. Either their players are doing ECNL or they aren't. No, this is targeting the girls who are definitely ECNL and CU is in desperation mode to try to get the top ECNL girls from going to FCP. Players are looking at the wins and losses for the clubs and it's not looking good for CU.

So it's always been a CU parent posting this. Probably Tom himself. Mr. Insecurity. How's that ECNL program working out Tom? Oh wait, just looking at the records, not so good. How's the recruiting going for the current U16s and U15s? Oh, not so good. FCP is getting players committed.

Not surprising. FC ECNL tryouts said to be pretty competitive this year. CU is the easier route .

FC Portland has a struggling program like UofP. Looking for a better option at CU.

As long as their crappy DOC is in charge they will be heading nowhere. What comes with a bad leader are bad coaches and that's what you have a THUSC. You also have parents that constantly whine about playing there but continue to pay the ridiculous fees. THUSC are now a rec club thanks to Milltown. They needed to get more players in the system so Atencio can keep his job. The board at THUSC need to take a long hard look at themselves. It's a disgrace!

Keep looking because you won't find it.

I agree with you about a DOC controlling a board but also wouldn't look to the other group with hot-heated coaches (which also includes THUSC coaches) sent off with red cards during state cup games and other coaches who get bumped out during state cup prelims with high-level credentials.

The problem at THUSC is the DOC. He has so much power over the board that the board will always change and he will remain.

CU's pipeline to PCC is still strong however.

Pathetic turnouts for ECNL tryouts. Could be a long year for CU.
