Refs are fine, the problem is uneducated, clueless parents that never played and don't know the rules. Add on the win at all cost mentality and blame everyone but ourselves culture. Parents should have to sit and watch behind a glass wall. -
For every truly horrible ref there are at least 20 doing a fine job, if not more. Give it a rest. If you really can't stand it, get trained to be a ref and be part of a solution.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

If you can do a better job then take the test and become a reff. Do you want to know why number of reff have declined, parents who do not have a clue. The biggest problem parents are those who never kicked a soccer ball in their lives. They believe their kids are going Div 1 and they are always looking for a scapegoat. The worse refs are the either fat or lazy (or both) who can't get up and down the field and make calls from 60 yards away on plays that would be hard to call from 10 yards away.
refs should have a fitness test every 6 monthsComment
