Will be interesting they need to show. U15's will possibly win won game. U16's have chance to move through and u17's may win won game. There conference will only get stronger the teams they will be in showcases will be better. All three teams added talent for next year.

15s have already imploded just like they did at FCA.
16s have struggled since FH passing. They have the talent but need to find the will.
17s will have 1-1-1 finish.
This is not the year for Virginia. Parents will come back wondering if it was worth all the time and money to get schooled by much better ECNL Clubs and show poorly in front of hundreds of college coaches.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostWithout having to read the entire ecnl website, can someone briefly layout what these upcoming ecnl "national" events are, and how you qualify for them? Did OC (or others) actualy have to qualify, or is this a "national" event because there are teams from across the US playing in the same event , more like a showcase? I understand that at another ecnl level there are teams playing for a national title, but those are the best of the best. like the regional games recently played with the winners moving on to Nationals.

Yes, this is the National Championship for ECNL and these 3 OC teams qualified based on league play results. There are 32 teams in each age group, 8 groups of 4, and the 8 group winners advance to the Finals in Richmond, VA next month. There is not "another ECNL level" playing for a National title. This is it.

If everything is so kosher with Top hat in playing where they have why go to ecnl. It depends how many teams are in the division and yes finished 17th out of the top 32 teams in win loss percentage. Fkk played 5 Upper division teams in ECNL and went 2-2-1 so the competition must of been pretty good. Come see the teams play before you throw your garbage out there.
