    Boys 03 Thread

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Is the age-group dominated by WST? Who else is strong out there?

    * - We can check back in a few years to see how many more posts go under the girls 03 thread than under the boys.

I am going to switch gears here and switch this to another ECNL vs Thorns Academy brawl. I personally think Thorns is better than ECNL, certainly better bang for your buck. Obviously, duh.

Nip this boys garbage in the bud. LOL

For boys 03, I think the Crossfire team will be a solid addition to the OYSA league and might surprise some of the Timber teams.

I've heard of two new academy teams being hosted by Portland clubs. ADF and Spartans.

Only in the eyes of normal soccer fans. On this forum, one would think the world revolves around Girls soccer. For me, girls soccer is hard to watch... unless it is my DD. She, of course, is the best player in the PNW.

Use the term 'Academy' loosely here. These are really just teams on par with regular club teams.

I'm a dad, kid plays with Timbers. Wait and see this season, there's some decent players that combined this year into a Crossfire team at that age group playing OYSA.

And OYSA teams will be glad to have them. Good competition breeds better teams. Welcome Crossfire.

I thought ADF was just training with Joaquim. Are they fielding teams now?

yes, and the Spartans too. They will have to go to OPL or start in 3rd Division of OYSA

There is no set promotion and relegation in Oregon soccer. It's all up to the DoCs to decide who plays where - in both leagues.
