What is going on with FYSA? How can they select such horrible fields for state cup? Amelia Earhart fields were a dust bowl of mostly dirt. Royal Oaks didn't have quite as much dirt but the field was full of divots. So much so that the ball didn't roll on the field rather it bounced instead. Both fields made for horrible soccer. FYSA should be ashamed.

We played there and did not lose, and I agree the fields were crap. I know field conditions are not always optimal, but for State Cup I think they could do a little better job finding good ones, especially in this case when there were only a few games to be played. Many fields should have been available.
It is obvious those fields have been bad for a while so not like they all of a sudden became that bad all of a sudden. Unfair and dangerous to both teams, but especially teams that play real soccer. Just ugly to watch that ball bounce all over the place. Too many nice field complexes in this state to have to deal with those conditions when it counts the most.
