Just heard that FESA is getting the U12 da and it will be announced just before tryouts
Does that mean that the DA program will be moved to FESA for north Florida ?

Here's the link from US Soccer. No U12 Academy until 2016-17 season...the official news release from U.S. Soccer says" "In the effort to influence and impact development at an earlier stage, U.S. Soccer will add an Under-12 age group to the Development Academy program beginning in the Fall of 2016.

any kid that doesn't start in the da at u12 when it is made available should probably just hang up the boots and quit soccer.

sounds like some are starting in the fall, but the standard will be in place for fall 2016.
i can see mls clubs getting a jump that already don't have a youth system for u12 and less. most clubs that already have a u8-u12 system, probably will be business as usual for u12.

How can Kendall Coslition have any academy. Their facilities are the worst in the country and this should be s program designed for the best players and fields. Kendall has neither one of them. Their practice fields are dirt fields there are actually dangerous to play on. They are trying to register as many kids to the program without proper and enough fields. Quality not quantity

One of the requirements to have an academy is "quantity". Same reason that Weston has the academy.
