Ok folks here's a fun question. Which boy's club has the most teams in the Round of 16 of State Cup? The club with most teams can claim to be the "best boys club in Florida".

Round of sixteen means you beat teams ranked 40th, 78th, 29th, etc in the state. Not impressive. Whereas being in the final eight is the difference between the top who won in the round of sixteen and the near top, and pretenders who lost out in the round of sixteen. If you want to compare clubs then look at final eight. -

If you check out the Florida ECNL teams many of them are ranked WAAAY down there on Gotsoccer. That is because as teams get older the object is to be in SHOWCASE tournaments. Which are invite only. Many of those do not work with Gotsoccer because they are ECNL, so after a point rankings on Gotsoccer mean nothing because who cares if you were at the Florida Halloween Soccer Extravaganza and won playing 20 rec teams?Comment

Former President Cup Champions and reigning Danone Cup Champions....I'd say they seem to step up when it matters most! True, they aren't the overall fastest team left in it, but they are plenty athletic in positions where athleticism is most important. I'd say from what I've seen of them that technically and tactically they are as good as any boys U13 team in the state. I guess we will see....Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
