And the soccer parent pimps are out in full force. Calls. Texts. Whispers. Here we go. New players with big mouth parents coming to a practice near you.

You don't have to pay it upfront. You can spread it over the season. That's less than $900 per month. Manageable.

YOU don't have to pay it at all. Your DD doesn't have a hope of making an ECNL team. Back to the Eastside "B" team. Does Eastside have a "B" team? Do they have an "A" team?

Or you can cherry pick what you go to. You can sign up for all of the local games and the Seattle games and the showcase tournaments that you want to go to and then leave travel to Utah and NorCal and games where there isn't going to be any coaches attending to the other players. Let them pay for the high cost of going to lousy games with no exposure while you go to the games that don't cost anything or have lots of coaches attending. It's called screwing over the other players, ECNL style.

Still way better than screwing over ALL the players, Thorns Academy Timbers Alliance style...

Is it difficult to walk around all day with a buttplug in and do your coworkers notice?

Thanks for the reminder. I need to send a big check to the club to make sure my untalented dd makes the ECNL team again next year.

Good thinking. Can you take my check in too while you are at it? I have the Facebook post all ready to go. "For the second straight year, little Susie made the local ECNL team. The E stands for "Elite", which means she is one of the elite players in her age group. We are so proud. She is elite, we have the proof."

Proof is in the pudding. If she's playing in OYSA, she ain't ELITE. No doubt about it. Just ask the Thorns Academy supporters (of which there are almost none left)
