This is desperately needed. This forum has devolved into a place for people to anonymously attack others. It is terrible. The moderators need to do something about it. They are ultimately liable for allowing this kind of libel and slander.

what are you a parent of an 11 year old ? go back 6-7 years and look at the threads back then. they actually called out players by name and jersey number, parents pics were posted and out right slander was written, but we all survived.

todays posts are NOTHING compared to then. sure they are nonsense, but it doesnt take but a second to figure that out and just hit the back button and read on to something else.

either grow some thick skin or stop coming here. Frankly I dont remember the last thread that actually shared some worthwhile information that was verified and factual, its all just BS and entertainment.

You would be wrong and the other poster is correct.

Libel is the use of false, defamatory claims about someone in written or printed form. Slander likewise denotes false statements that damage a person�s reputation, but it is committed orally or in any other transient form. Both words have complex legal definitions and connotations, which we won�t explore here. Legal complications aside, all you need to remember is that libel is written and slander is spoken.
