        Who cares?!

Americans are so spoiled rotten. In other countries kids practice on dirt. Small sided practice with lots of touches & focusing on control & foot skills will make for far better players than kids running up down a full length field.

Most teams practice on 1/2 field & are successful. Size of practice field does not equal skill.

Exactly. It's just like when I walked to school. 10 miles on gravel roads, in storms, uphill both ways.

This is such a huge generalization. It says Bridlemile but I don't know which that would be.

              Is worthwhile training.

200+ on a field is a nice time lapse video.

If we actually played on dirt, which there is a lot of in Oregon. Wide open spaces as well we would be just like the other countries who train on Dirt, world powers.

Instead we have spoiled naive kids, who get into lines with other kids on million dollar lighted fields doing mundane drills with 100's of kids and forget you need to play the game to get better.

At least we've got the idea of a proper warm skills exercise down.

              Here's to dirt!

We should one up those countries and practice in the forests on the sides of hills. Theres lots of that in Oregon.

I hear in Florida they practice around alligators and in Texas, amongst rattlesnakes. What hostile creatures do we have in Oregon? Other than Angry Poster that is.

The original. That is OES's H.S. field.

I agree the kids don't do that enough. Just get out with your friends and play some pick up games!
