Seems they are seriously scouting talent
Also announced is partnerships with Chargers (Clearwater, FL), three time national champions in the youth ranks and 40 Florida State Titles. Pateadores (Southern CA) were 2011 U-17/U-18 national champions, and Vardar (Detroit, MI), the top soccer club in the state of Michigan. Also included is Real Colorado (Denver, CO) a regular in the top 20 ranks of youth clubs. These are all prolific feeders to D1 and to MLS.
GPS tried to something before but they are more of a rec soccer factory than elite.
BLAZERS will never be able to do anything with their volatile leader.

What ever happened to the inner city initiative for GPS ??
Bolts with Roma
GPS with Bayern
Liverpool around....
Valeo has a Brazilian National...
Who knows how many others.....
and for what??
All I want to do is find good training and lots of it........
I don't care if my kid wears a shirt with no logo at all.
All these partnerships are business moves. Unless these coaches are coming to the states for extended periods of time i.e. more than 8 days.....or the kids are going to their clubs for 2-3 month stretches then I think most of this is meaningless.
The only non-coaching benefit is if the American clubs are being supported financially and allowing more kids to play for free.

Otherwise, I am not looking for the hype.
none of these American club teams are getting financial support from the international clubs. If anything, the Bolts are charging more JUST because they have a logo from Roma or Celtic on their jerseys.

Good idea. Then you will be happy with the Rome deal, i imagine the top elite clubs , who are courted every day by everyone and thier mother would only join if it were An amazing partnership.

You have to admit that the Bolts charge quite a bit for not enough. If any affiliation would lower the price, or, better yet, get more and better training then that would be a bonus. The Bolts have struggled with mediocrity and the Celtic affiliation has done very little to change that.
Benefits to the players are either a price reduction, better coaching, and/or prolonged training by the better club's coaches.....more than an 8 day camp.
