    Got Soccer Points & Leagues

I see most Florida leagues now seem to be reporting scores to Gotsoccer. Can anyone tell me the leagues that are not sending scores in.

Some of the CDL teams have CDL games listed on GotSoccer and some don't, why.

Maybe it has changed but in the past CDL has never submitted results which means teams do not get Got Soccer points for CDL games. This has always put CDL clubs at a slight disadvantage for getting into Disney showcase, etc.

I now see results but I do not see any points awarded for CDL play.

SFUYSA still refuses to report scores. It's going to come to head next year.

Gotsoccer FAQ states that league points will be awarded at the end of the season which may explain results but no points on the CDL & GCF games. Why then is FSPL getting points and the season is not complete?

season not complete, ha! they were awarded those points back in Sept before some teams even played a second game. I heard they were going to "adjust" the points once the season ends in the spring! FYSA allows them to do this, and in fact these leagues request it so they can keep their teams happy (they continue to come back), and another benefit is that it allows those same teams to earn a higher placement in showcases, etc.

If South Florida league is part of gotsoccer then will are there no points awarded?

From the South Florida League website

Game Day Rules and Responsibilities: Why the results of
                  SFUYSA don't show on GotSoccer?
GotSoccer refuses to put the results of league play or even provide "GotSoccer" points for
participation in the SFUYSA league because the league does not use their scheduling system. The
complexities of our league are beyond the capabilities of the GotSoccer system and are therefore
not going to be see there.

I wish you were from the STFU youth soccer league.

The points awarded to teams before the end of the season are adjusted throughout the season. This allows teams to move up in the Got Soccer rankings and be accepted to higher level tournament as you already mentioned.

SFUYSA can keep the "complexities of the league" and still get results and points. It's a lot more work on the league but if they wanted they can also use the gotsoccer software.

yeah, that sounds good and all, but to award points at the beginning of the season is flat out wrong, especially when there is an advantage to be gained over other teams if it is done.

I disagree. In the ideal world, ratings would be real-time to include results. A team can change dramatically from September to May. It doesn't make sense to wait until May to award points for league games the prior August/September.
