I know this is primarily for Competitive soccer and I have not been on this page in years and have never posted here but wanted to post this about the way Tampa Dynamo treats long standing members of the soccer community. I do know that names are not normally posted here but I could careless my name is Melissa and here is what I want to say:
This club is horrible. They are in it for the money only. The only kids they care about are the ones that are theirs.
FL Revolution Soccer merged with VSC and made a league called Tampa Dynamo. the only reason this was done was because myself and two other people could not do it by ourselves anymore. I regret our decision every single day. I want to apologize to every single parent that has had to deal with these people.
I voiced my opinions on the way they were running things, via email, they took it as I was not happy. I am and was happy as long as my daughter was happy. I guess if your opinion does not agree with SJ's ways of running things you get kicked out. PLEASE NOTE THOUGH: While I was not happy with the way they are running things I NEVER voiced my opinions to anyone in the league AND KEPT IT TO MYSELF. Well now I am voicing my opinion out loud.
Valrico Soccer has no clue what they are doing. They have 6 year old kids playing soccer with 9 and 10 year old kids because they cannot form a team for kids in their own age groups. the teams have 10 - 15 kids on each team how can they even teach these kids how to kick a ball if you have 15 kids? much less teach any skills at all? HMMM I wonder.
Stay away from this league, they could careless about you, your child or providing a good program for the kids to learn to play the great game of soccer.
What is so upsetting is my child has played with the same team for 5 years, she has played in the same league since she was 4. We never thought of going anywhere else. My son started with SHSL when he was 5. He is 22 and serves our country proudly in the Navy. My son was a referee and a coach, my husband was also a coach. This is a family that did everything for this league and we are treated like this because SJ and some others on the board cannot handle someone else having an opinion that differs from theirs.
They did not even have the guts to talk to me they left a message on my voicemail. Cowards...
