By honor you mean every club goes somewhere else to play a Columbus Day tournament, right?

I'd love to stay in the state for that weekend.

Can't judge the tourney by who is hosting it, rather by who is playing in it. (Feel free to ask GS for details on that.)

World Cup tourney in NH has been popular with some MA clubs.
Scorpions is having one in-state this year.

Our club gives us that weekend off, so my kids will attend the Natick tournament with their travel teams.

Can't wait til next year when the youngest is in HS and our holiday weekend travels won't involve soccer tournaments. It's been great and all but enough already. Would love to stay in state but it seems everyone is convinced the competition is better across state lines. That or they're too afraid to possibly lose to competitors and be ridiculed on TS

Looks like south shore heading to ct for cfc tournament. What a waste of time, the top ct teams, which have trouble competing with mass', aren't even participating.

Looks like CFC is not even putting their top teams in their own tournament. I saw a few brackets on the girls side that were all SSS, CSU and Galway. Why drive to CT to play teams that are in your back yard. Have fun drinking at the bar in the hotel and paying your coahes for games you could do for way less money here.

Exactly! Last time my daughter's team went there they played Galway, Bruno and a team from our own club. We drove 2-3 hours and paid for a hotel room for that? Like another poster said CFC'c top teams don't even play in it. Stay home. I hope the Breakers tournament draws in the local teams, it could be good.
