Technically Sutton would be better than 100% of the group or then 95% of the teams - there are 19 D1 Teams and you would be the 20th in comparison. So it would go in increments of 5%. 99.9% would be statistically incorrect. Regards, AMSA

Wake me when Sutton beats ANY CMass D1 team this year. All they seem to do is tie all of them. How does that make you better?

Is it true in D4 you still get oranges at the half?

There is a huge difference in playing 5 D1 teams during the season as compared to an entire D1 schedule. They would struggle to make districts with a D1 schedule. And yes, they continue to hand out oranges at half time at D4.

Oranges provide potassium and hydration. Bit too much sugar, which burns off quickly, but still better than most sport drinks.

Actually, they beat North last year, 1-0. Sutton played four D1 schools last year and NONE of them managed to beat them. Heck, three of those four games were played on the road and all four schools made the districts with two reaching the semi-finals. Yet NONE of them managed to beat Sutton.

Why is that big guy? Either Sutton is pretty good and competitive with the D1 schools or they suck and D1 is big bag of horse manure with grossly oversized egos. Which is it there big guy? Because you can't have it both ways knob.

Agreed. Sutton's smaller roster/pool of players, given injuries, would make it difficult for them to compete over the course of a full season.

But here's where we disagree. They'd make Districts and wouldn't be seeded anywhere near the bottom. Half the "D1" schools in Central MA are D1 in name only. Sutton would pummel quite of few of them, but I think they'd struggle to emerge out of the Wachusett/Gonk and and whatever other school or two emerge for a season pack - think Westboro last year. They talked a lot of smack and they were good last season, but they'll fade away into the pack again this year. They don't have a program really to speak of.

Oh, and when my D4 son from Sutton runs over your D1 kid, I'll be sure to have him bring your kid an orange after the game - cuz he's gonna need it.

The OP says better than all D1's. If you are better, you beat someone. You only beat 1 of 5. Try and beat 4 or 5, then you can start bragging.

If the correct schedule is out Sutton plays North and Milford away and home vs Gond, GD and Shrews.....

North is D1 but is not that good this year. Sutton should win. I doubt the Shrews ganme will mean much. it is Shrews 18th game. They should be all set for districts. Highly doubt they will have the "A" team play much.....ditto for Milford. The barometer will be the mid season games vs Gond and GD. Lets see how those go.

A bunch of red neck hicks. I'm sure we will here the same about the girls who got spanked by Gonk last yr.

Gonk beat the Sutton girls 2-0...that's not a spanking by any means...considering Sutton has about 400 kids in their HS and Gonk has over 1000 (maybe even 2000 not bothering to look it up) Sutton girls will struggle this year with numerous injuries and 6 girls that graduated...how many girls did Gonk graduate? Does Sutton even play Gonk this season?

Why don't you Sutton folk focus on more useful things. D1 CMass is weak anyway. How about the DVC? Is Nipmuc or Douglas doing anything this year?
