Is this likely? And if so would high schools follow closely behind.
As an example, when I grew up in Florida, there was not fast-pitch softball in high school. However, as soon as a few Florida colleges started playing, then high school softball became fast pitch in state. Also, I don't recall lacrosse as a high school sport in Florida until recently. Now that some of the in state University's play it (women's) more high schools have teams.
