    Inter Academy

Does anyone really know anything about Inter Academy? They have 2 coches and a DOC as of right now. They say they will play Super-Y (I didn't see them on the list of teams) and U.S. club soccer (which admittedly I know little about.) It's their first year but it doesn't seem like they quite have it together yet.

They have a legend coaching. His last name is Ferri. Anyone who has a clue about soccer knows him. I'll take Ferri coaching my kid over some wannabe coach any day.

I know who the coach is. They have no other real info on their website.

Don't care how good the coach is, this academy won't last. Not unless they make a lot of changes for next year.

It MIGHT be fine and I wish them the best, I just think they might need another year to get organized. There weren't that many players at tryouts and at least 3 of the kids I know that were there only found out about Inter because I told them. Maybe it's the language barrier holding them back? Who knows. I know they have more tryouts this week but at this point, haven't most (if not all) of the good kids in the area signed with a club?

They have they came on to late and just need to move forward with more sense of urgency maybe the World Cup will help them land rec type parents and kids!

I was thinking the same thing. Work out the kinks with the rec kids and come back strong for travel next year.

Nothing wrong with the approach money is about the same and no pressure to build something out of nothing.... The good is the rec kids will get better and that will help.

They are STILL looking for coaches at this point. Talk about being unprepared. That and the fact that they want $1,700 a year. Thanks but no thanks. I'll but my kid an Inter shirt for $70 and let him play somewhere that they at least have the basics set.

Any parents with kids in this academy have any feedback? It looks like they are slowly but surely getting themselves organized.

seriously, they have a legend backing the club, soccer knowledge, money, they play us club and fysa....lots of good things for the future. I expect this year their teams will not be competitive, but the future looks good if they are organized. I would like some feedback from parents on the inside ...

there is no need for west pines to feel threatened. the clubs in Miami are so bad that the broward clubs can take kids from both counties.
