Sponsorship of a team (meaning paying for uniforms, etc.) is fine and perfectly legal (according to NCAA recruiting rules) BUT paying for coaching fees, travel (airfare, hotel, other stuff for player and family) is NOT fine. No, sponsorships do not make players better but paying for your players can entice some of the best players in the state and persuade them to play for your team. All expenses paid is pretty attractive BUY pretty illegal also and I bet none of these players mention that on their college recruiting questionnaires.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
