Why so quiet ESC? Usually can't stop posting all over the place on TS. Choking on a big fat slice of humble pie?

ESC is not interested in State Cup. They are preparing their players to become professional players in Europe. That is why they are called EUROPEAN Soccer Club, comprende?

Your logic is beyond stupid. Try again with another excuse. Or grow up, be an adult and say, "we got beat". Getting beat happens all the time in soccer.
Guess when the kids don't get a professional contract you will just say that they weren't interested in professional soccer?

So, when I said (another hint, I am not with ESC) "We are not interested in State Cup..." I was using irony (because, as you so logically pointed out they really were interested in State Cup) and then I deftly used their own prior description of their club's purpose to train kids to play professionally in Europe to mock them (viciously, if I say so myself) for losing in the first round of State Cup (remember they do care about State Cup) to 2 Region C teams! Still with me.

Instead, you decided to try and sound smart. Allow me to teach you something.
While you smugly suggest that I would need to look up a definition it is obvious that it was YOU who had to look up the word "sarcasm" since you repeated, verbatim, Google's definition of the word. Lazily enough, it's the first one that appears when you google "define sarcasm". Lol. You are very "Google smart". Congratulations. (I will wait while you Google the wor "verbatim".
Since you seem to like true definitions let me enlighten you. Not that you should have to know the true definition of sarcasm, in it's entirety, to realize this but... Sarcasm does not translate to the written word without adding some context to it. Sarcasm is, without context added at least, a form of humor best used in the spoken word. Look it up. I will wait.
You see, in your own words you said "WE are not interested in State Cup." Had you said "THEY are not interested..." instead, THEN you would have added context.THEN the sarcasm would be recognizable. Had readers been able to hear the tone in your voice or seen your rolling eyes or heard your little chuckle while you typed your post then it would have been obvious I'm sure. But the written word is a little more complicated. Let me give you an example. I were were to post, "That team is great!", what would you think that means? Obviously, you would discern that I think that team is great. Now if I SAID the same thing to you in person with rolling eyes and used an overly exaggerated tone of voice, there could be no mistaking my real opinion. So, although I'm sure that in your head you thought the sarcasm was clear, it wouldn't be out if the norm on this board to an ESC parent o state exactly what you typed. Right? (Thus, that irony you mentioned. Damn, that's got to hurt having that comment turned around on you!)
Comprende?
