Ok, so GA is now under the umbrella of US Soccer, same as all the women’s professional teams and the US Women’s National Team. I don’t know if anything will actually change in the GA program or not. Time will tell. It could be just a marketing gimmick.
Is anyone able to clarify which organization sanctions the ECNL program, or are the ECNL girls also under the US Soccer?

USSF is the top
ECNL is US Club
US Club is USSF
GA has now aligned with USSF
USYS also falls under USSF
in the grand scheme, US Club and USYS compete.
GA has now entered the fray, which includes ASYO, SAY, USSSA, US Club and USYS.
Its all stupid, dont think you are special.

But yeah, definitely too many leagues out there. It should all be one league for youth soccer with promotion and relegation.

It likely means that they can now card players themselves instead of relying on USSSA. In other words, they get to keep the revenue so it’s more $$$. That’s about the only impactful factor of this. It doesn’t really affect anything else. It’s good for the league, it means squat for the families.
