    RCL Spokane Boycott

Who can organize this? If teams all refused to waste time in this what would happen?

That's such a childish thing to do. Adults would find better solution...that does not involve ranting on anonymous listserv. The Spokane kids probably want to play games otherwise they'd be quitting. Also you knew the risk when you signed up to play in rcl. Suck it up and be role model for your kid.

Why do people hate Spokane so much? Understand that they aren’t competitive in ECNL but their teams usually do fine in RCL. If you aren’t willing to drive 4 hours, then go play NPSL.

No more like Sokame should be playing in leagues in Idaho. No reason for U10 to drive five hours for an hour game.

Because Spokane to Boise is such a short drive?

Clubs east of the mountains should play on the eastside

Against who? Growth requires adequate competition? The population density isn't like the I-5 corridor. I'm not saying they should have teams at the highest level, but if you put the top players in Spokane on one team who would they play?

Is this helping Eastside? Or hurting Westside? What kind of participation bump would Westside get if away games in Spokane weren't a possibility?

Participation would probably go up. I know many families who refuse to go over the mountains for a game that they’d have to drive five hours for. Sometimes those kids are the best players.

From Spokane here and 100% agree Sounders shouldn't compete in RCL, nothing to do with competition its just ridiculous. Now the 2010 and older kids play both RCL and DPL. The RCL games dont matter as far as wins and losses, our team uses RCL as friendly's however thats 4 double header weekends to Seattle for a B team when we can get the same level competition playing teams in Spokane, North Idaho and Tricities. For DPL we only have 2 travel weekend one in Seattle and one in Portland, makes much more sense.

Spokane doesn’t play RCL until U13 idiot. STFU.
