And the top kids train with much lower quality players, in a group of 30, with 1 coach. In the last month, the club has sent multiple emails to the parents, telling them to stop complaining, because they have been overwhelmed by emails and in-person confrontations.

This could all have been avoided if the club had been transparent about “growing the club,” as their email stated. I wouldn’t be surprised if there will be a mass exodus soon.
There are numerous XF family’s taking advantage of the free playing time as their is lots of unhappiness with the performance of Bernie’s drinking partners. Some of the guys coaching at XF this year are terrible.

Past tense may help. Many of XF's current coaches should be fired, period! They are destroying the kids and the soccer environment in the area.

Not a XF parent but are their coaches any worse than anywhere else? There are good, bad and mediocre coaches everywhere no?

Correct, some of the very worst coaches in this area have cushy gigs at ECNL clubs who fancy themselves premier. WPFC in particular comes to mind, as they have some real losers over there coaching ECNL that I wouldn’t trust with a U8 team.

Well my kids coach has been to one training in the past 3 weeks. Either cancels or has a different coach cover. Even the one practice he made, basically rolled out a ball to scrimmage and then was on the cell phone for an hour and a half.

Can you name the coaches who should get fired and why? Just curious.

One of the top players who was the reason many of the others joined the club is already planning an exit.

Which age group(s) is this happening in?

lower team, higher team?? How do you classify?

at tryouts? No, because there is continuous open tryout sessions. They keep adding players, without any organization.

                            another money grab!
This is happening at clubs all over.. always taking kids that are the next best thing and moving kids who have been with the club to a new team.

But not all year long. After tryouts, many of the high school age teams had 15-17 players. Now they have around 30. Many players would have chosen another club had they known that their rosters were to grow by around 10 players.

Oh well that’s different… my sons club took on extra players and then created a second team however still too many kids. We however will be leaving… but ya know people tore me apart in a different thread for being frustrated with play time. Meh… sometimes this forum sucks.
