    Remote Work from Starfire?

Thinking of signing up my kid for a camp at Starfire this summer. Given the drive time from north Seattle almost seems easier to try to work remotely from Starfire. Has anyone ever tried that?

I tried that years ago and the Wi-Fi was atrocious and for some reason the coffee shop was closed during the day. But that was a winter break camp so maybe it’s different in the summer. I just took my laptop and worked in the Barnes and Noble Starbucks near Southcenter while they were in camp.

There's a lot of places nearby to work around South Center - Panera, Starbucks etc

Surprised that you still find time to write on this board. Don’t you need to feed your family?

This is literally the most racist thing you can say to NON white people. I will let you contemplate why.

I might need to work from Starfire too - do they let you drop off your kids for camp without paying for parking (then I would head to Starbucks or something)? I think there is a coffee shop there too - does anyone know if they have tables? I can use my phone as a hotspot, so just need a physical place to put my laptop (or I guess I can work from the car too). Thanks

The coffee shop and the pizza place have tables. It’s just whether they are open or not when you are there.

There’s all sorts of camps in Seattle. Pete Fewing, Seattle united and others. No need to drive to STARFIRE.
