Do you need to play in RCL to play in state cup ?

Do the RCL standings count towards stare cup seeding ?

I believe anybody can enter state cup

The USYS National Championship series (of which WA State Cup is the first step) is an 'Open' tournament. Meaning that a team has to have registered with WYS to compete. My understanding is that (other than at U19) a team must be registered and compete in a WYS league to gain entry. I think U19 is an exception because you could (theoretically) have a team of eligible College Freshman that are not able to play in a WYS league due to their collegiate commitments, but could be released to play in a USYS tournament.

ECNLR and RCL1 are basically the same thing as all of the ECNLR teams play in RCL1 and that doesn't make them better quality teams. I'd argue that GA is too, since most of the teams that are in GA either came from RCL1 or NPL and didn't magically improve just by slapping a new patch on their jersey.

2. GA / ECNLR / RCL1
3. NPL
4. RCL 2

Nope. Only MLS Next team is Sounders Academy at u15 and U17. There is no MLS Next league in WA.
