Does anyone have kids playing in ECNL for Avalanche or La Roca? If so how is it going so far? What about other leagues EAL, etc. Would be nice to have good discussion on this forum with lots happening in the state of Utah.

ECNL (boys) only has had the La Roca/Avalanche matchups, no real surprises. La Roca seems more out of sorts this year with trying to figure out if the North or South teams enter. Not sure why anyone would do EAL, most of the clubs are second-tier (i.e. no recent state cups winners or high level tournament success for the clubs involved). Seems like people are setting up all sorts of different leagues.
I know that Desert Conference (USYA) has had their first weekend; a lot of Sparta, USA, La Roca, Celtic and a smattering of others), and that USA & Sparta are also involved in the NorthWest Conference (USYS). In the USYS, at least on the Boys side, it appears that the Utah teams are doing well. But again, a lot of the good competition for the Boys (in other states) has gone MLSNext. Wondering if any local will apply.
