Obviously someone from outside the club adding more crap…pretty sure Oregon Surf teams were training on THPRD field this week.

What is clear is this. The ego of ORSurf’s leadership is writing checks it can’t cash because if true thus mean they have now straight-up and undeniably lied to their members. Didn’t they tell their members their name change would have no impact to their fields a few months ago?
Hilarious and sad.

Any validity to this? Currently we are practicing at THRPD Rec Complex with Surf and haven’t heard of a change. But, the club not saying anything wouldn’t be new.

Generally, clubs that have most of their members in the Tualatin Hills district are first in line for training at THPRD facilities. Having one's office located in the district is also helpful--WSM, Aloha United, etc. all quaify there. WSM used to charge a surcharge for kids who don't live in the district--a cost from THPRD that they passed on.
But clubs that have no tie to the district tend to lose field access. I doubt the name change had anything to do with anything, but if the club is mostly out-of-district kids that might be a problem.
