KL will likely land a head college coaching job soon. There won’t be too many spots open to follow him. He is a very good coach but beware following to where you are only in because you are getting a legg up. Just a matter of time until it becomes obvious to head coach that the player is in over their favored head. Playing players based on favoritism leads to missing the college cup.Originally posted by Guest View Post
As always, first pick a good coach that develops players and is fair and not owned by parents, board members or who they private train. Even if your dd is one of the favored ones, the favoritism ends up actually harming them in the end as we’ve seen so many times. Next, If you want to play at the next level, find a team with that kind of coach that travels. If not ECNL, then another team that travels to big tournaments during the recruiting years.Comment
