Pac 12 should have two in Final 4 2021. Go Beavs!!!!
pac 12 is actually very weak this year. First year in a long time they only got 4 in the tournament and 2 lost in the first round. Then take into account the big gap between the top 4 and the bottom 4 and who boy not looking good this year. That said, precisely because of this, the Beavers have a very good shot to move on up in a weaker than normal pac 12 with a much stronger than normal Beaver team.

Beavers lost another of their best players to transfer (another one to WSU). Whenever they took BM out or didn’t start her, play dropped obviously and significantly. Favoritism over merit cost them games and now another player.

OSU also lost another girl HR to the transfer portal, she moved on to Utah Valley State. Normal attrition with new coach? Or are there already issues? Are more leaving?

HR only started three games the season before last (has no stats at all for the season that just ended), but she did get one assist. It seems like she forecasted not much more playing time and decided to move. Wise by her, but it does not look like a significant loss by OSU.

Normal attrition once players realize where they stand with new coach. Maybe a good heart to heart talk was had and it made sense to go get play time elsewhere. The portal is active and coaches are using the opportunity to build and cut as necessary.

Unfortunately lack of production against Pac 12 opponents and a super freshman who took her spot made this change probably inevitable. Really good player (BM) and hope she does well next year.

imo given there are 3 starting forwards, she should have been one of them. Certainly had higher production per minute than the others. but will do fine at WSU

This is the issue with calling situations out on anonymous boards. Very subjective, however center forward position is the one we are talking about and super freshman scored 12 goals this year and was one of the most productive forwards in nation. Half of those goals were against pac 12 comp. The other two outside forwards are work horses going 100% up and down both sidelines which isn’t one of BM’s strengths. She is a great player ( BM) and will do well at WSU. Situations like this is why transfer portal is great for players. She will be missed at OSU. Is what it is, but not anyones failure in Corvallis..

She was done before the season started. She's following her coach MK to WSU. This is normal with coaching changes.

Hearing the program has lost 2-3 more players. Any word?

Haven’t heard but am shocked the new coach would play worse players and lose proven better players because of it. Makes me wonder if the new head coach isn’t making the decisions… Also benched obviously better new recruits. Will end up losing them and will also negatively effect recruiting. Why would better OOS players want to go to a team where playing time isn’t based on merit? The superstar players on the team who do play will see it too, and leave like the first 2 that already left for WSU.

Mom, your DD is in college now. Going on to youth soccer forums to whine when she gets benched at a club you're paying big money for is one thing. Whining about it now that she's an adult is another.

Unlike youth, college coaches are expected to win. If the current OSU staff doesn't get it done, they'll find themselves back coaching youth clubs. Just ask LR.

All the new players in look great - they bring back a lot of the starters and rotation players. Think it will be an amazing year for the beavers
