Beavers lost another of their best players to transfer (another one to WSU). Whenever they took BM out or didn’t start her, play dropped obviously and significantly. Favoritism over merit cost them games and now another player.

HR only started three games the season before last (has no stats at all for the season that just ended), but she did get one assist. It seems like she forecasted not much more playing time and decided to move. Wise by her, but it does not look like a significant loss by OSU.

Normal attrition once players realize where they stand with new coach. Maybe a good heart to heart talk was had and it made sense to go get play time elsewhere. The portal is active and coaches are using the opportunity to build and cut as necessary.

imo given there are 3 starting forwards, she should have been one of them. Certainly had higher production per minute than the others. but will do fine at WSU

Why would better OOS players want to go to a team where playing time isn’t based on merit? The superstar players on the team who do play will see it too, and leave like the first 2 that already left for WSU.
Unlike youth, college coaches are expected to win. If the current OSU staff doesn't get it done, they'll find themselves back coaching youth clubs. Just ask LR.
