The college exposure was insane and it was such an amazing experience. The ECNL is the class of female youth soccer

The creepy mayor can’t keep AC’s balls out of his mouth. Your daughter still isn’t making nationals but keep sucking up

College coaches could care less about the scores. They're there to see specific players who reached out to them first. Sometimes a player catches their eye and they'll reach out to them, but for the most part they have a shopping list. Scores are purely for club bragging rights. Organizers try to match semi-similar quality teams to hopefylly avoid ugly blowouts. But even if your team is getting crushed and you play great, never give up? that coach will keep you on his list. In the end that is all that matters - did coaches come watch you play and do you move forward in discussions?

Great that things were kind of back to normal - everyone needed that, especially the kids..

Where we’re all the good ECNL teams from around the country??? Were there different tiers because Florida teams seemed to get off the hook again. Where’s the top dogs at?

18 teams in Champions League in 2005 attended NC event. 20 attended in 2004 NC event. Plenty of top teams attended the event. Florida didn’t play anyone because they all suck and aren’t making the playoffs

After a year of Covid and dead recruiting, teams are thankful for the opportunity. Decisions were made at the time given the circumstances at the time. If CA hadn't opened up, GA would be looking at another Showcase catastrophe like the TX weather issue. You must be a GA player throwing stones because ECNL found a way to make everything work this year.

It was also a bold move because it will force a lot of colleges to evaluate their budgets if they want to pay for two trips. If they can only afford one, guess which one they are choosing -- hello Sunshine State!!! and they will keep the recruiting momentum they started this past weekend.

Teams are matched up with similar level teams from other regions. It's not a good look to have blowout games.

It will be an advantage for the southern teams for sure. July heat in Florida is different.

Only because Concord Tophat we’re more bark than bite. I heard from a Concord Platinum parent that the promises of greatness, over promised by their coaching staff, underdelivered. So the team is breaking up. Going back to Tophat. Now they’re going to have to beg the Concord players they moved off to come back. Funny bastardś. Shady…very disloyal.

Oh, so, Prime and other Florida teams will get embarrassed at home in Nationals in a month you’re saying?
