TBU can’t compete without DPs. TBU also can’t develop - which is why they need DPs.

In just half a season in their first year of ECNL, Florida Premier already has 3 of 6 ECNL age groups ahead of TBU in the standings because they develop and don’t need DPs.

DPs are also an insurance policy for TBU - a necessary evil to keep the half way decent kids with talent from leaving the club so the crybaby South Tampa Mob kids still have a team to play with.

Imagine, FP playing by the rules (2 DP players) and TBU doing whatever they want so they can try to win bc they have zero local talent anymore. Tbu has 4 DP on roster currently (cape coral and east coast). Why does ECNL let then get away with it?
