It may not be an itemized list of tasks but there is some basic overview keeping employees informed, engaged, motivated, feeling valued. Conversely he’s been known to make no effort to criticize players to coaches m, to not play a girl when he knows a coach is there to watch. His reputation is reality. I’m guessing your daughter is one of the 6 or you’re one of the parents that paid in some way to help him start FU. Your experience is way different than the rest of the girls and it’s not right.

Look Jerome is who he is. If you don’t like it just leave. That’s what we did and so many others. His actions speak for all the lies! He touts his college connections but won’t lift a finger when players needed it most!! Training is good but outside the token 6 the rest are garbage and pay the bills. Do yourself a favor and pull the layers back and you’ll see the lies. Before it’s too late for your daughters

The person defending Jerome is Jeff because he invested money into Florida United. He’s told me he feels conned by Jerome but needs to recoup his money back. Hopefully you get it back before your daughter graduates

Best decision was to leave and I feel for the players that didn’t see it. Jerome let you down and won’t take any responsibility
thank god we are already committed with zero help from both of them , but at least they didn’t talk crap to our college coach during the process , like he does with some players , so I guess he did kinda “help” lol

Its interesting that everybody is leaving out the control piece. My daughter never played for Jerome but she did play four years at a top Division 1 program and got an amazing education.
All the parents on this thread are talking about training, and fees, and college coaches etc. My take is that you are all missing the enjoyment part of this soccer experience. The only thing that I know is Jerome continues to tell kids and their gullible parents
not to play High School soccer. I just wish that I was able to truly show all of you what your girls are facing once they step on to the Division 1 practice field for the first day of training. From that second on your kids are entering into such a nightmare scenario of manipulation, mind games, back stabbing, exhaustion, and extreme mental duress.
Sad to say but maybe 1 out of 100 girls who finish the four years will look back and say, "wow that was truly fun". Many will miss their teammates, some of the experiences etc. but there is little or no enjoyment. Division 1 coaches care about feeding their families and that is all.
My daughter was a 4 year starter and a 2 year captain. She literally despised her head coach. Her experience was on the extreme end but if you ask any girl in a division 1 program not many like their head coach. All of you "soccer purists" that actually believe the BS that "High School soccer will
destroy your career", or " You can get injured", or "the quality is crap", or worse yet, "my National team players don't play High School". The truth is that most High School games are crap, and yes you can get injured etc. etc. etc . I know some of the best soccer players and their families that
ever came out of South Florida and EVERY kid agreed that High School was their favorite part of their soccer journey. So when Jerome tells you all to pull your kid from High School tell him to shove it!!!

No one cares if they do or don’t if Jerome is footing the bill but he’s not. He’s charging us $1500 every trip to pay for the chosen ones. Other people claiming the same just proves my point.

What are you talking about HS, college? Whatever, let’s get back to fun JS stories…
like the times he has the b team girls miss their “low level” game so they can showcase their talent with the A team (translation , he doesn’t have enough bodies and can’t bring up all the girls from the younger teams) - then plays the b team girls 10-15 minutes , while his stars pad their goals - all during blow outs , the gal isn’t that competitive just fyi
no wonder he’s having a tough time fielding a team for California - karma

Dear FU players , I need you to not play HS soccer , not saying I forbid it , however there are consequences. I need you at the practice fields 5 days a week so my 3 NT stars have human cones to practice around and better their skills
sincerely
JS

The truth is starting to rear it’s ugly head for Jerome Samuels. Leaving opened our eyes to the injustice we have suffered with him. Gave up high school soccer for him to not lift one finger to help her get into school. At showcases my daughter would ride the pine so younger players could take their opportunities.
He runs a program designed to instill fear and that’s how he convinces people to not look elsewhere. Many girls are afraid to tryout for ECNL because if they don’t make it he will try and destroy them. The problem for him is more and more people are speaking up
