For the most part a player can play anywhere (assuming games are not at the same time and in different places) if their current club and guest club say yes. That being said I believe GAL is independent of the major soccer organizations like FYSA and US Club, so there would be no rule from that level to interfere.

Yes wff's player you can also place ecnl or ecnl r. Wff does not have to release you. The player card is from two different leagues.

It wasn't allowed before under GDA rules, nor was it with BDA. MLS still doesn't allow it but no one cares much about GAL at this point. That doesn't mean a GAL club won't strongly discourage it. Plus the philosophy of GAL is to incorporate proper rest and fewer games. Playing for another club is just asking for overuse injuries and burnout.

Well, at least it will be clear to those parents who the clubs think are the real players and who are the ones there to pay the bills. If that's the case, those parents should get a discount (and the cross playing kids can pitch in a little extra).

Not a bad idea. Could be a good thing for the area. Will piss of some parents. But if your kid is truly ECNL quality then nothing to worry about.

Top Hat is the best club for girls in the SE and top 5 in the country. Whatever league they are in is made better by their addition. They are way better than Concorde.
