These are two separate clubs that have separate tryouts but are apart of the same alliance.
Rangers fields will not be ready (brand new) till the end of June. So Rangers are using FC Tampa's fields (also brand new) at Shimberg for tryouts.

Rangers are only affiliated with FC Tampa, they have a completely separate board, staff, etc.

Seperate. MC is using the 'FC Tampa' name and FYSA club number to start his Lutz club this year. Not sure if this will remain past 1 year or not. In addition, Lutz, together with FC Tampa and Florida Soccer Club, have formed the 'Tampa Soccer Alliance'...these clubs will form select teams after the seasons are done to compete in upper-tier tournaments. Looks like FCT and Lutz have a nice working relationship.

This will be very interesting. Two completely different style of managing clubs. One group has very little soccer background and are just looking for kids to have a place to play. The other has ex rowdie players and most likely will want to become very competitive in a few years. I am not sure how this will turn out but it would surprise me if the association lasts more than a few years because they are so different.

FYSA rules require a vote to add a new club within a certain distance of an existing club. Do you think HCU would vote yes? FC Rangers have to play under someone else's club banner in order to exist as a FYSA club. Great of FC Tampa to allow them to register under their FYSA club code. Clubs will be run independently, but the Rangers either have to get approval as a new club, use another club's code or just go exclusivelly to US Club passes. I see the agreement lasting for a while unless FC Tampa gets greedy or jealous.
