The only person who can fix this is Dick Trollman. If the clubs are serious about this, why don't they bring him in, get it negotiated, and get right with the members.

So many words and so little said............BK in a big nutshell.

Merger Update - East Lake Soccer Association / Palm Harbor Nighthawks Soccer Club
        23 February 2010
On behalf of our respective clubs, we would like to offer our sincere appreciation for the efforts of our
individual members, technical staffs, committees, and administration. These parties have been working
diligently to develop and present the ideas and methods which are being leveraged to overcome
challenges that commonly arise during an organizational transformation such as ours. The vetting
process and efforts have been focused within a thirteen-part subcommittee structure. These individual
subcommittees are led by a steering committee with a charter to determine the logistic needs and
impacts, organizational changes and benefits, and a collective financial structure for a proposed new
organization. The steering committee meets weekly and receives recurring updates from the individual
subcommittees and disseminates this information to our individual boards and member body.
For some, things are moving too quickly, while for others, we are not progressing quickly enough, but
you may be assured that we are working to do the right things and in the right way. After a
comprehensive period of fact-finding and due diligence, we have rededicated ourselves to listening to
and communicating with our membership. Based on your feedback, we have held additional coaches
meetings, collective and individually, to ensure we understood the needs of our coaches and their
players. We have also noted your expressed desire for stability and can assure you that we have a
common goal in that regard. Over the last several weeks, our respective Directors of Coaching (DOCs)
have communicated a position of stability to all of our technical staff, coaches, and players.
Additionally, they are in the process of developing age-group meetings and cross training sessions for
the coaches and players of each club.
To make certain we have a stable operation and environment for our players, it is our objective to
ensure you are receiving timely and detailed information regarding the activities our committees.
Therefore, we will continue to provide you with Merger Updates such as this one and provide a common
set of documents on our web sites with information such as Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs),
proposed structures, benefits, and other associated topics.
Our committees are busy developing materials, models, and worksheets for club operations which we
are eager to present to you at a joint Town Hall Meeting. The next Merger Update will include the
location, date and time for the Town Hall Meeting. Based on the outcome of this meeting, we may
schedule additional meetings or break-out sessions to further enable member participation in
establishing the structure and procedures for our new club.
Please continue to send your questions, comments, and ideas to Steve Ballou at
president@eastlakesoccer.com and Marty Decker at president@palmharbornighthawks.com.

Let me get this straight: PH is trying to tell us they are doing due diligence on a merger? Will this be the same attention do detail they lavished on their selection of DOC? And *** is a 13 part subcommittee? WHy study how to do it if you don't even know if your membership wants to do it? If the DOC and BOD president both left and went to EL they would raise the IQs of both clubs.

Do you know what is funny?
If you check the IP addresses for all of these posts, you will find that most of them are from only a couple of different IP's. Meaning that most of the BS is from the same people.
I think I should post the IP's of the people and then we could identify who they are by emails that they have sent to you. If the IP's are the same as the IP's of another that has emailed you, that means you know which computer these posts have come from.

Yeah, YOU! I bet you you're wrong. What's your IP address and I'll check it against my email to see if I ever got an email from you. Plus you don't have access to the IP address unless you're a moderator. Stop with the IP threats BK.

Waaaahhhhhh. It's an electronic bulletin board and a wireless world. Quit crying and making stupid threats. If you spent half as much time doing your job as you do arguing why you didn't you would be a slightly less suckier DOC. It's good to have reasonable goals.

I'd say so. He would have had a heart attack if he knew all that was said after.

That would require him to have a heart.
