When does an aggressive play turn into something that needs reaction from a ref, coach, parents, soccer programs...etc.
Situation: Player from team A is dribbling past defenders and is in the box getting closer to the goal. A player from team B comes running in full speed, gets a foot on the ball and and then elbows the offensive players face (slight concussion, knocked teeth loose and required 15 stitches in his lip).
Is it a good play because the defensive player got ball first and momentum carried the rest of his body into the offensive player or should the defender be responsible for more body control?
