Sunrise kids don't play good soccer??

For years I have listened to the same jealous babble over and over .
    But guess what??

Every year more and more kids get committed to some of the finest schools in the country from Sunrise due to their talents in the classroom and on the field.

Scholarships vary from academic ,preferred walkons ,financial aid, partials and all the way to many full rides.

It is truly sad to see the venom pouring out of people's keyboards against the club and these talented ladies simply due to a deep-seeded and cancerous level of jealousy .

We at Sunrise truly wish your daughter the best!

QUOTE=Unregistered;2014688]You should ask how many are still in college after freshman year. Three-quarters of the Sunrise roster can barely speak English, let alone succeed in school.
    [/QUOTE]

I cannot believe how parents or players behave and who are jealous of another player to me that is ridiculous. Unfortunately, some players have talents and some don't but don't hate the ones that have signed and ready to go play in college. Congratulations girls for achieving excellent grades in high school and have a future playing the sport you love soccer in college.

Academics play a BIG part in any scholarship! With that being said, it is a fact that sunrise girls do have the highest ratio of girls committing to D1 as well as D 2 schools for soccer

Most D2 schools are low quality academically. Target D1 or high quality D3 schools for the best experience in school/soccer.

2001 and 2002s didn't even get out of the group in state cup lol not many college commits in those groups. Those days are over when 99s and 00s move on.

No walk-ons at UF and good luck getting in without being a great soccer player. Fall 2016 freshman class had average 4.35 G.P.A. and an average S.A.T. score of 1919. Remember a lot girls have good grades and high test scores, what you view as awesome is probably average.

What Sunrise is doing is great, those attempting to belittle its success are loser. My kid played for WFF and OCYS, but she played against many Sunrise teams over the years.
