My son has been training with a U11 travel team with the idea that he would likely play travel with them this upcoming year. We recently had the tryouts and we were told he’s been placed on a U13 travel team. He just turned 11 and is physically on the smaller side so I really wanted him to be U12. We really like this organization, the training, etc so I’m bummed but don’t think he’s ready for the full field, etc. seems they may have a combined U12/13 team. I’d def sign him up if it wax U12, but I really don’t think U13 is right for him. Thoughts? Advice?
