How to get a guest player with a club card on a state-carded team?

USYS team hoping to have an ECNL guest player this weekend at Jefferson Cup. We’ve been told:

Special Note on Guest Players: US Club Soccer teams may only take guest players registered under US Club Soccer, and USYSA teams may only take guest players registered with properly stamped USYSA player pass cards.

Anyone know a way around this? First time I’ve encountered this.

Make them a USYS player card for your club. They are two separate carding systems, so it shouldn’t be a problem to card them under USYS with your club.
