How does this change anything besides a name? Valor and GFR didn’t have ECNL before so any of their players who were good enough would have gone elsewhere - mostly Loudoun or Union. Now they will go to Alliance or Union. What changes or is this just fresh marketing?

Loudoun beats FCV on moving into fairfax county territory.
1st step towards the world dominance.

I remember at DCUM when Loudoun parents made fun when TSJ purchased the club and how they would all be stuck in traffic going to practices. Fortunately that never happened.
Hopefully, Loudoun players won’t have to commute.
Rumors are also flying that the 09s and 10s will have a new coach next year, probably Gus from Great Falls. That would be a major upgrade for the ECNL teams.

good timing on 66 hov and 28 interchange completed.
Northern Virginia parents would not mind spend on the toll after spending tons on the soccer privilege.
Please make 7 and 28 toll road that would help the commute.

And the last lone standing ECNL club in NoVA is Arlington. Let's face it as well. Within all of these mergers theres always one club that actually controls the ECNL interests.
