surprised Bayside 08's are coming to a very strong NEFC showcase. I guess they will be put in the lowest bracket with the U-14 teams. My money is on the U-14's to destroy Bayside.

both NEFC 09's and Select 09's would destroy Bayside 08's by at least 3 goals. Although disagree with your premise as why would they go to a strong showcase because they couldn't do any worse than the last spring tournament when they went 0-3 and had a -13 goal differential. I think they want to try and score at least 1 goal that weekend at NEFC. Makes sense to me.

Not going to get better if they don’t have a challenge. As long as the girls get their heads out of the clouds then they should be good but they play selfishly and not as a team. They all want to be the star individually, not going to get far when you have players like that.
You also have surf teams coming to this tournament and even their C team so they will definitely have a challenge since most of their competitors are bulked up town teams. They are finally stepping out of the box and playing other teams other than Juventus, rams and other surf teams.
should be an interesting tournament.

You guys aren’t following MA boards closely or even thinking. Many teams your bayside kids will go up against both this weekend and the following have teams from MA entered that are not bringing all top players. Coaches in mass (outside of NEFC) made both tournament weekends optional. Many families are traveling these weekends leaving teams with holes in rosters to be filled by lower teams. Enjoy your tournaments but if it’s bragging rights you seek well you won’t be actually playing all the top teams real teams.

NO you are missing the point and taking away from Bayside's major accomplishment of scoring 1 goal FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in a tournament. BAYSIDE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!! they scored a goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes it took them 3 tournaments to finally do so but CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note to next tournament director that Bayside enters please put this team in the absolute lowest bracket to give these poor girls a fighting chance. This is not 2018 or 2019 when Bayside was actually pretty good. We are going on 2023 and this Bayside 08 team is not good enough to be put in the top bracket. How does it feel for the poor girls in their last 2 tournaments to be outscored by a combined 25 goals?

sadly no responses in 5 weeks so far. Bayside is going into the spring with exactly 0 goal scorers.

I guess nobody wants to play in the idiotic elite 64 league which somehow travels more than GA.

I believe she wants to get better but she isn’t with the right set of girls. That is no excuse but that team is a mess of all selfish girls that want the spotlight themselves. Then when they can’t win they get frustrated. It shows on the field and score. Bayside needs to lose some of those hot heads and their families and then rebuild. They have the skill but they also have the parents that think they are the boss and same with their children. People avoid bayside because of that group of girls.
